New IMAC Apple Computer….Install Disks?
Hi There,
I’m hoping someone may have some feedback on the following situation. I just purchased an IMAC computer, plugged it in and launched Garageband. However, there are two accompanying disks with the computer. I’m wondering if there is info on these disks that I have to install or are they included in case the system goes down? Thanks for any feedback and I hope you have a great week ahead!
Those disks are your copies of the operating system and software that came on it when you bought the computer. Everything that is on those disks is already installed on your computer. They are for any reason in the future you want to reset your iMac back to the way it was when you bought it, ie: a clean install or fresh start. Put them in a safe place until then.
